Some moments ask very little of you. Guests remember the water, the weather around it, and the permission to let the hours pass gently.

When the evening opens

For some, the water becomes part of the night’s stillness.

Loved waking up early just to go to deck outside with coffee and the fireplace and watch the stars fade as the sun rose above the landscape. Bathroom had dual shower heads. Awesome soaking tub right in the middle of the cabin. — Timothy M., Google review

hot tub under the stars. Oh, the wildlife was a bonus, greeted by a skunk, watching (& listening to) hawks fly from one spot to the next. — Ryan & Jill, guest journal, August 2026

The views, the quiet, the stars, the soaking tub, the ROBES, the hot tub, the kitchen, it all added up to relaxation, connection, and the perfect recharge. — Shoshana & Colby, guest journal, May 2026

When rain changes the rhythm

A slower day can settle in around the water.

It poured Saturday; opening the screen door and doing a puzzle and resting in the soaking tub was glorious and peaceful. We want to shout-out the robes & fluffy blanket, we plan to seek out a similar one! 100% plan to come back, this trip was exactly what we needed to shut off our minds and unplug together. — Leah + Jenna, guest journal, July 2026

Otherwise this was an amazing place to be in the rain, which was intermittent so we were even able to use the firepit. We also utilized the hiking trails from this site and chose our own adventure. Even just going to the meadow is very pretty. Of course the hot tub is so wonderful. — Sara + Josh, guest journal, July 2026

We spent our days soaking in the hot tub, working on a puzzle and flipping through the couples conversation cards, those little touches made the experience feel so intentional and personal. — A guest, guest journal, March 2026

A little room to return to each other

Guests describe the tubs as part of a day that asks less of them.

The soaking tub and hot tub were amazing, and waking up to the mountain views was such a treat. This was the perfect little getaway for us as newlyweds ♡, and we’re so grateful we got to spend a few days here. The bedsheets felt like sleeping on a cloud! It’s such a wonderful place to unwind from our busy city lives. — A guest, guest journal, September 2026

We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, having breakfast outside with a view and enjoying the hot tub. Inside the cabin is just as beautiful. The decor and atmosphere is intentional, every detail was perfect! — Staci & Robert, guest journal, September 2026

We drove from Boston and stayed in Cabin 9 for a long weekend and had an absolutely incredible experience. Hinata Retreat was exactly what we needed for a re-set before the end of the year. From a fully stocked kitchenette, a private deck with incredible views, a hot tub, grill & fire pit to lavender bubble bath, cozy blankets, & board games - Jen, Jeff & the Hinata team very clearly put care and intention behind the experience they are looking to provide their guests. — Em S., Google review

For a little while, let the world wait beyond the water.
