Sometimes what brings two people closer is a little less noise. These guests describe the feeling of letting the day slow down, then finding each other in the quiet.

Silence that settles in

For some guests, the quiet was the first thing they noticed. It gave the rest of the stay room to unfold.

From the first moment we got here we were surrounded by peace Every moment was slowed down and enjoyed. Being able to sit outside and not hear any noise brought such a calmness to us — Natasha + DeAundre, guest journal, April 2026

An unhurried kind of togetherness

A quiet day can hold its own small rhythm. These guests remember the ease of doing less, side by side.

The quote of the weekend was “how did we do so much but not do anything!” It poured Saturday; opening the screen door and doing a puzzle and resting in the soaking tub was glorious and peaceful. — Leah + Jenna, guest journal, July 2026

Space to look back together

When the demands of daily life fall quiet, there can be time to take stock of what you have shared.

After 26 years of ups and downs, & ugly monsters, and demanding jobs, it was so nice to just simply be together in this quiet, cozy, most beautiful cabin, and reflect on our lives together and all that we have been through and accomplished over the years. — Jodi & Tim ♡, guest journal, September 2026

A softer way to end the day

Some guests remember the quiet in simple comforts: settling in, waking slowly, and feeling at ease.
