Some pages hold the small shift that happens when the day’s demands loosen their grip. In these April entries, guests describe making room for themselves and for each other.

When the day can wait

A little distance from the usual rhythm can make space for a different kind of attention.

4/12/26-4/14/26 What a wonderful escape from the day-to-day realities we all face. Lovely few days with plenty of relaxing, resetting and laughs. Thank you for sharing your world with us! We will be back — A guest, guest journal, April 2026

April 10-12, 2026 As parents we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves. This place was a perfect place to do so. From the beautiful drive up to the delicious food from the Perch, everything went above the expectations. — A guest, guest journal, April 2026

Time that belongs to two

For some guests, the pause is simply time together, held apart from everything else asking for their attention.

4/30/26 I was drawn to come here because I work for a company associated with the Offgrid cabins in Germany and I’ve always wanted to visit them but didn’t want to fly to Germany ☺ A quick Google search and I discovered I have this beautiful option just a two hour drive away! As parents of five daughters (17-26) we just wanted some time away for ourselves and we absolutely enjoyed every second of it! — David + Kim, guest journal, April 2026

April 30 - May 2 '26 My wife and I came here to celebrate our birthdays and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The property is beautiful and quiet, the privacy is wonderful. — Alyssa + Michelle, guest journal, May 2026

The ease of being here

Guests notice the feeling of care in the details, and the way a quiet stay can settle into its own pace.

Jen, Jeff & the Hinata team April 15-17 Thank you for creating this experiance! My fiancé and I came to celebrate our birthdays this month. It was so nice to get away and relax. Everything is so well thought out. — Sierra & Kenneth, guest journal, April 2026

April 5th - April 7th. - Long way from NYC and it was worth it! Thank you Jeff, Jen and the Hinata team. Everything was perfect for my SOLO trip :) I’m sad I didn’t get to go the The Perch but I will be back soon. I DK what was better, the privacy or the Hot Tub, maybe the soaking tub lol. Nope, everything was BETTER! — A guest, guest journal, April 2026

A feeling that stays

Sometimes the words point toward a search ending, or toward a place that brings an old story back into view.

From the inner most parts of my heart, I say thank you. I have traveled many miles looking for such peace and finally my search has ended and every detail has been thought of and met. — Antonio and Alecia, guest journal, April 2026

April 14, 2026 We got married at the Warfield House Inn in 2010. While looking for places to go we found Hinata without realizing it was on Warfield House Inn property. It was a God wink moment for sure! We love everything about here. So happy to be back at where it all started. — A guest, guest journal, April 2026
