Fall can make room for a different kind of time together. These guests remember the quiet moments, the conversations, and the feeling of letting the day unfold at its own pace.

The morning takes its time

A slower start can stay with you long after the morning ends.

From the slow, peaceful mornings watching the Sunrise through the mountains, to having Breakfast delivered to us, every part of the experience was so Special. — A guest, guest journal, October 2026

We plan on making this our yearly tradition to help us balance life from our busy lives back at home. — Sally & Joe, guest journal, September 2026

Conversation comes easily

Sometimes the best part is simply being there with each other.

We spent most of our time relaxing on the deck, talking and laughing. What an amazing time deepening our connection. — G&T New Hampshire, guest journal, September 2026

Peaceful, relaxing and really brought us together in the best of ways. We were able to enjoy everything from the hot-tub under the stars to fun little games to play in cabin. — Haley + Drew, guest journal, October 2026

The world grows quieter

A little distance from the usual pace can help what matters come back into view.

The moment we walked in we felt all the weight of life fall off, such an amazing place to share moments with each other. — Rick & Jaime, guest journal, October 2026

Going 1700 miles an hour at home and then we arrived monday night, all time stopped… life came into focus and WHAT IS most important floated to the top. — Margaret + MATT R. I., guest journal, October 2026

Stillness follows you home

Guests leave with their own words for what that pause gave them.

We walked slower, enjoyed conversation, ate some amazing food, and explored the town. We rode the Thunderbolt mountain coaster, walked a corn maze, took a hike, and explored the local markets and restaurants. — Erin + Brian, guest journal, October 2026

We saw deer and a bald eagle and her baby right from the back deck! It was such a great view and we loved waking up early to see the stars + watch the sun rise. — Kristen + Josh, guest journal, October 2026

A little time together can change the feel of everything that comes next.
