Some kinds of closeness arrive without a conversation. In these guest words, a couples massage belongs to a wider quiet: time easing, the body letting go, and two people resting side by side.

When the day begins to soften

The pause can be hard to name until it arrives.

My wife and I needed a weekend away to relax + reconnect. That is exactly what we got! The service + accommodations are 5 star for sure! The cabin has everything we could ever need and more! From the couples massage, to tubing to just relaxing on the deck with a book. — megan + Sheila, guest journal, July 2026

We had a wonderful time here celebrating a mini-honeymoon. Everything here is perfect! We had a couples massage that was so peaceful my husband fell asleep! — Erin + Dave Rhode Island, guest journal, October 2026

Nothing to hold up

A little quiet can be its own kind of answer.

We had the most delightful time sitting in the hot tub, having wine by the firepit, soaking in the tub in the room, taking walks smelling the fresh air, having an amazing couples massage!! — Jan & Ted, guest journal, September 2026

What an experience of relaxation and reconnecting with my husband. The massage was relaxing! Can’t wait for the expansion of the Wellness Center! The Perch was great food & drinks! We actually loved just spending time together by the fire & the Hot Tub. — A guest, guest journal, June 2026

Returning to each other

The simplest moments seem to leave room for more.

This is a place where you can really just think about each other. Reconnect, be romantic and just take time for yourselves. Staff make everything super easy! The views are stunning (I love the fog in the morning through the mountains - and the star filled sky at night). Cabin is so well kept and rather luxurious! — Victoria H., Google review

We had a couples massage w Chris + AJ that was excellent. We will hopefully return + will send all our friends. — Wendy + Ken, guest journal, September 2026

A quieter kind of celebration

Some occasions ask for very little beyond being there together.

We are so relaxed and focussed on what is most important. Until next time — Chris & Katie #TEAMSTAR, guest journal, August 2026

Our massages were fantastic! The hot tub was just what we needed! These views are stunning! We can’t say enough about the retreat and its staff. What a great team! — Megan and Eric Herson, guest journal, October 2026

This was the most relaxing trip we have ever been on. From the soaking tub, to the hot tub, outdoor fires, the candles - all of it was so amazing!! We enjoyed a hike on the trails to the N tower, a couples massage and had a great dinner @ the Perch. — A guest, guest journal, October 2026

For a little while, nothing needs you. There is only the quiet, and the person beside you.
