Some places stay with you after you leave. In these guests’ words, coming back is a way to find your way to each other again.

A place that calls you back

For some, the return begins as a feeling they already know.

This was exactly the experience we needed to step back from our busy day-to-day schedules, re-learn to appreciate and enjoy this wilderness around us, and reconnect + be present with each other. — Jon + Kaitlin, guest journal, September 2026

What stood out the most was how relaxing everything felt. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the ambiance to the activities, allowing us to fully disconnect and just enjoy each other’s company. Nothing felt overlooked—every little touch was impeccable. — Nicole T., Google review

We are so happy to return to Hinata to celebrate our ♡Golden♡ anniversary! It’s been amazing to see the changes that have occured since our last time here (in the Fall). Taking time away just the two of us, away from the chaos at home, has been much needed!! Hinata is such a wonderful place to rest & relax - which is not always easy for us to do — A guest, guest journal, July 2026

Familiar moments, made your own

Returning can mean settling into the small rituals that belong to two people.

This was our 2nd stay here in Cabin 12 and it’s our favorite spot to just enjoy each other! The fall view from Cabin 12 is just incredible! Every morning we sat in the hot tub to watch the sun rise and after diner at the Perch we sat in the hot tub to watch the amazing star light sky and even caught another Shooting star! — the Jedlicka’s (Jen & Jillian), guest journal, October 2026

We actually loved just spending time together by the fire & the Hot Tub. This will be memorable trip that we will be greatful for Can’t wait to return. — A guest, guest journal, June 2026

Our second time ~ Wonderful Again! Sunrise from the hot tub - Magical. Until the next time — Alan & M.A., guest journal, October 2026

Seeing the place differently

The familiar has room for a new view, or a season you have not shared yet.

Had another amazing stay at the retreat, this time in the summer. It was really nice to see the grounds in an alternate season. This is our ultimate escape for relaxation. We hiked, relaxed by the fire pit and enjoyed the hot tub. It was also great being able to eat outside at the restaurant both nights. After this trip, I don’t know if we could pick between seasons. Snowed in cozy cabin or beautiful outside experiences, both have been great. — Gregory H., Google review

When we were here in June, we knew right away that we needed to come in the fall. Cabin 5 did not disappoint. The view was beautiful and the seclusion was just what we needed. This is our #1 spot when we know we need to recharge. — The Mosca’s, guest journal, October 2026

A return that becomes a tradition

Sometimes coming back is how a place becomes part of your story.

We fell in love with this peaceful place, and this year my husband chose to return as our Father’s Day gift. It has become a very special tradition for our family. — Janicee & Jetro, guest journal, August 2026

It was a God wink moment for sure! We love everything about here. So happy to be back at where it all started. — A guest, guest journal, April 2026

Somewhere between the first stay and the next, returning begins to feel like coming back to yourselves.
