Some anniversaries call for a little room to pause. These guests came to mark years two through five, and wrote about what time together meant to them.

A pause from everyday life

For these couples, the occasion made space to turn toward each other.

We came to celebrate our five year anniversary and were blown away by the experience. The cabins, the food, the property, the staff, and the ability to unplug are all overwhelming reasons we’ll be back. Thank you for giving us such a special time away from everyday distractions to focus on us. — Lizzie & Ian, guest journal, September 2026

My wife and I spent our fifth wedding anniversary at Hinata this past weekend, and it was exactly the refreshing, revitalizing getaway we needed. We have two young children whom we love dearly, but having time to ourselves to reconnect and simply be present with each other was priceless. Hinata’s relaxed, cozy atmosphere made it easy to slow down and enjoy that time together. — Preston B., Google review

Finding a rhythm together

A few days away can feel like a gentle return to one another.

7/8/26 My husband and I are celebrating our third wedding anniversary, and also in the spur of the moment we wanted to book a getaway to enjoy us, relax in the moment and celebrate parenthood all at once! Hinata did not disappoint at all! It was truly the most perfect, serene getaway - from spending time roasting marshmallows on the deck while the sun setting, soaking in the tub w/ our sparkling wine and being in the moment with each other, we couldn’t ask for anything more. We had the best time enjoying us- can’t wait for another romantic adventure at Hinata! — A guest, guest journal, July 2026

We came to Hinata to celebrate our 2‑year anniversary, and stayed in Cabin 9. The owners and staff made it perfect. The Cabin was cozy, modern, and surrounded by beautiful views that made it easy to relax and reconnect. We spent our days laughing, playing games, and enjoying amazing meals at The Perch, where the food and service were consistently excellent. — Harry G., Google review

A reason to return

Some guests leave already imagining another year together here.

We are here celebrating our 4th year anniversary! This place has been absolutely magical and the time we needed away together ♡ First off… if you’ve read this book you’ve heard the espresso martinis are really good… so we had to go find out for ourselves & they really are THAT good! Make sure you go in the hot tub at night and turn all the lights off and look up at all the stars… Its breathtaking! — Victoria & Cameron, guest journal, October 2026
