Some anniversaries arrive with a little more life behind them: years shared, children raised, routines kept. These guests came to mark years six through ten, and their words return to the moments when the rest of the world could wait.

Finding room to reconnect

For some couples, the occasion was a chance to set everything else down and find each other again.

There is something magical about this place that makes you forget your worries and reconnect with not only yourself, but also each other, and nature, and peace. — Miles & Katie, guest journal, April 2026

We came to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, and this was one of our best anniversaries ever! There are, of course, the obvious things that make Hinata special: the aforementioned hot tub, the soaking tub big enough for two, or witnessing the sunrise over the mountains from the king-sized bed while wrapped in the most luxurious duvet. But it’s also all the little things: the cabinet of screen-free activities, the ample storage space to keep things uncluttered, and the fact that there’s a real door on the bathroom and not one of those sliding things that doesn’t really close all the way that other hotels think look cool (because some of us don’t need that much intimacy.) — Jessica J., Google review

A slower kind of celebration

A few days together could mean less of an agenda, and more time to follow the morning or the mood.

We loved that we didn’t have anywhere to be or a huge agenda to follow and could just fully relax. — Heather B., Google review

Celebrated 10 years of being married in this relaxing place so close to the culture (MASS MOCA) and activities (alpine coaster!) that one of us craves. This place was perfectly designed for relaxation. Stargazing in the hot tub. Coffee and sunrise in the hot tub. Crosswords on the couch. — Heidi + Willie, guest journal, August 2026

Watching the sunrise with the great coffee was incredible. We loved exploring the area, including Mohawk Trail State Park, and visiting the local breweries. The hot tub was a great way to end each day. — Graham & Sharley, guest journal, October 2026

The details that stayed with them

Guests remembered the small pleasures, the welcome, and the way an anniversary felt in the moment.

Thank you for such a magical stay to celebrate our 8th anniversary. The food and the staff were excellent and made us feel at home. The views made us feel secluded and they never got old. — Graham & Sharley, guest journal, October 2026

We had such a blast watching the moon rise in the hot tub. The fire pit was so nice to sit by with a bev and relax. For me - it was the soaking tub and super cozy bed! — Michaela & Tim, guest journal, May 2026

This made our 10 year anniversary so special - lots of board games, laughs & relaxation. — Brittany + Mark, guest journal, September 2026

The feeling of marking a milestone

At six, eight, nine, or ten years, the occasion might be grand or wonderfully simple. What mattered was having time to share it.
